The Past

Can you remember what you had for dinner last Thursday? How about the name of the clerk at the dry cleaner or the teller at the bank you see every week? My memory isn't as good as it used to be, but it's never been something I would brag about either. I'll admit it, I'm a Sticky Note Slave. Everywhere in the house there is a pad and a pen to help my poor little brain remember what it's supposed to remember these days. Could have something to do with my age, but I blame it on my busy life.

But you know, I'm like an elephant when it comes to yesterday's battles, the things I need to let go of. We need to understand that once something is over, it's over. Instead we hold onto old grudges or worry about things that really don't matter anymore. This bit of good advice came to me the other day...
Draw a line under THE PAST!

  3. I've never thought of that either, and even though this post was a short one, it is full of things to think about and to remember!

  4. OR...draw a line through or over the past! I use sticky notes too, have done that for years so it's not an "Old" thing don't worry! I love to forget the ugly stuff. Come say hi :D

  5. I'm exactly the same too! I'm wondering what will happen to me in later days!
