My Brother's Salsa

A couple months ago I met an amazing Arkansas family who had convinced the Sam's Club Big Wigs that their products need to be on the shelves for us to buy weekly. Helen Lampkin comes from a family of good cooks. Her love of cooking comes from her Father, her first memories in the kitchen are standing on a stool and tearing pieces of toasted bread for his famous Thanksgiving Day Dressing!

Years later one of her four brothers shared a salsa recipe and after tweaking it to suit her tastes, it became a favorite of friends and family. Named simply My Brother's Salsa, Helen was demo-ing the Original Salsa, Black Bean and Corn Salsa and the Fire Roasted Salsa. I bought all three and within the week we had eaten it all. Please don't say "OINK," I used them in recipes too!
This is what I suggest...
1. Find out where to buy this great salsa.
2. Beg or threaten your local Sam's Club or Walmart to carry it.
3. Order if you can't find it where you live.
It's that good!
Visit My Brother's Salsa website for the following great recipes...

This weekend they are having another Road Show at the Sam's Club April 9th-11th at Fayetteville, Arkansas and I will be there with bells on...to stock up on the best salsa I've ever tasted!

Helen's website No Ordinary Broom has one of a kind hand painted brooms that make the perfect housewarming or wedding gifts!

  4. Joycee, I shouldn't be salivating over all of your savory and gorgeous pics of food because it is breakfast time, but I want some of each. (My husband always complains when I am printing off everyone's recipes!) These look fabulous. I will have to run to Sam's. It isn't as convenient to where I live as Costco but I still go once in a while. Someone told me about a purple dutch oven they were carrying but ours only had red! Bummer!

    Thanks for the recommendation.

  11. Everyone keeps talking about Sam's Club; we may have to break over and check it out...even though it is over an hour away!

The salsa sounds delicious but I am the only one to really enjoy it.

  12. Wow! I've just happily stumbled upon your blogsite ... NWA was my home while growing up (through post graduation at U of A), but I have lived in the West (and now the Pacific NW) for 34 years now. What a treat to find you here! I have a friend who lives on Beaver Lake, and for all I know, you two may know one another. (I've emailed her your blog link.) I'm looking forward to visiting you here frequently! A touch of home ...

  16. Yumm, You cooked all those delicious looking meals??!! I LOVE salsa and my hubby makes a pretty mean Salsa using my garden grown goodies, so I must stay faithful to his recipe.
Very beautiful home you have, I have been wandering about your blog and will certainly return again.
