Gator the Goose

Too good not to share, from Cute Overload the story about Gator the Goose! When Bobby and Lauree Strouse found him along the edge of "alligator friendly" Lake Roy in Winter Haven, Florida they knew he wouldn't be long for this world if they didn't bring him home. It didn't take long to turn him into a pet! Four years have passed now and he's adapted to wearing a leash on his daily walks around town. When you live in South Florida, the pavement can get pretty hot so the Strouse's had specially made Teva's commissioned for his delicate tootsies! Cute, huh? Teva would be smart to run an ad with Gator, don't you think? Let's all send them an email HERE and nominate Gator for a guest shot in an ad!

    1. If you Google Gator the Goose... there are some YouTube videos out there. He looks like he's spoiled a bit! Jere over at Hopalong Hollow has geese for pets and she says they are wonderful.

  5. Oh dear, I hope my geese don't see these shoes, they may get ideas. I can just see it now, Fionna Goosefeathers in spiked heels!
That is a Pilgrim goose, just like my Attila, a very handsome goose indeed.

    1. Miss Fionna doesn't need them at Goose Friendly Hopalong Hollow, but she may be wanting a pair for a "fashion statement!!!"

    1. I guess you can get attached to any animal. I know I loved my chickens when I was a little girl. My Mom said I had a red hen that would ride in my doll buggy, happy as a clam!
