Another unusually hot summer so far, this kills me because I really love being outside. I have to tell you, I had to shower twice today! I decided to water late this afternoon and ended up a drippy, sweaty mess! Our water bill is going to be terrible this next time~Joy Tiltonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04183952085695405635noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8466688981552322075.post-89178318450102248742012-07-05T13:50:00.855-05:002012-07-05T13:50:00.855-05:00Lol love that top image and like you folks we here...Lol love that top image and like you folks we here in the Lancaster Pennsylvania area are experiencing lots of hot and dry weather, its draining on ones body but we are trying to deal with it! We did get to enjoy fireworks over at their house this year and they were GREAT! It's nice to be a distance from the noise, but I'd be sad if we didn't see some sparkle! So glad you came back to visit... I dropped in on you this morning and enjoy your blog so much. Didn't see a place to add you to my list of blogs... I'll come back later and snoop some more!!!Joy Tiltonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04183952085695405635noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8466688981552322075.post-22693272113918440362012-07-05T13:41:59.095-05:002012-07-05T13:41:59.095-05:00We had ant earlier in the spring when we were gett...We had ant earlier in the spring when we were getting rain. I tried a new way to get rid of them, diamaceous earth. It's a powder that you get at the nursery and even though it's not toxic in any way, it kills bugs when they crawl over the sharp edges of the powder ??? I don't understand that at all but it WORKED! Put the powder where I saw the ant, there were so many, and then they were just gone. So far, so good!Joy Tiltonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04183952085695405635noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8466688981552322075.post-3543686684941359532012-07-05T12:36:44.295-05:002012-07-05T12:36:44.295-05:00Love the sound of a peaceful boat ride in the cool...Love the sound of a peaceful boat ride in the cool of the evening... and a rooster that can not only get you up, but get you going!Ms. Ahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06263882972749791087noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8466688981552322075.post-70970924860805804632012-07-05T09:15:20.737-05:002012-07-05T09:15:20.737-05:00What an awesome post...I'm so glad to have fou...What an awesome post...I'm so glad to have found your blog. That rooster pouring tea is a hoot...loved it. And the moonlight boatride has me a bit jealous. That sounds so tranquil...even though I don't swim and really avoid large bodies of water. I'm glad you had such a wonderful time though. We walked around last night, enjoying our neighborhood firework display here and there....but we could see it all from our acre. My favorite thing to do is swing out under the trees. That will do for me...lol.Maggie Annhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04991999931680942893noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8466688981552322075.post-40639233683223299912012-07-05T07:41:10.514-05:002012-07-05T07:41:10.514-05:00I haven't seen too many spiders lately, but we...I haven't seen too many spiders lately, but we have been noticing a few ants. Its my fault, when our son came to visit, I put the dog food out on the deck, near the kitchen patio door. And the ants found their way inside. The Mister sprayed the outside of the house and took care of the ants. We all now know our place!!Muffy's Markshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13826630430126318583noreply@blogger.com
