Sweet Stuff

I'm setting here in my pink robe and fluffy socks last Friday when the "Good Fairy" sends more good news to my mailbox! It actually was from Karen at
This Old House 2. She could be called a "Good Fairy" because she was the one who introduced me to a company with a concience. Roba Dolce not only makes the best Italian Gelatos and Sorbetos that are sold, their goal is to make lives "sweeter" by helping organizations that serve the needs of children in particular. I had nominated an amazing woman for recognition on their newest venture into goodness at RobaDolce.blogspot.com

Tina Cox makes a difference in the lives of so many people on a daily basis. She gives, and gives and then gives some more! A tiny little thing, you wouldn't think she'd have the strength to do all the things she does in a day's time...but her dedication to the senior citizens at Jamestown drive her every waking moment. All it took was this little note  to put the wheels in motion for a big gelato/sorbetto party!

Companies all have "Mission Statements" these days. Worded correctly, they give us insight into the heart of the company, Moral and goals, it tells us what they value for their employees and their customers. Roba Dolce goes a little further, they ask us simply to "share a little love with somebody" on their new blogspot address invented solely for the purpose of spreading good news. They want to hear about acts of kindness that occur everywhere with everyday people. All you have to do is go to the website and share a story of a random act of kindness, become a follower and every week they choose a story to highlight in a blog post. The winner will receive a large assortment of  gelatos and sorbettos free. But that's not ALL.... once they reach 500 followers, all 500 will be entered to win a grand prize of two premium Patriots tickets to the game of your choice for the 2011 season, as well as a box of gelato and sorbetto. That's more than a "Mission Statement," that's a PLAN to make the world a better place! Let's hear a round of applause for Roba Dolce! Go over to Roba Dolce's blog and nominate someone special for this wonderful project. Let's share some good news for a change!
