Arkansans have a sense of humor, we have to because if you don't you're in a heap of trouble! Hillbillies have been picked on going way back to the 1930's radio show Lum and Abner. Later on the television show The Beverly Hillbillies poked fun at Jed Clampett and his family. While they lived in a Beverly Hills mansion, they were reluctant to give up their old jalopy and their Ozark ways for a"City Slicker Life."

ReplyDeleteLove it!! I was born and raised in California by two of the Best Southern Parents that ever lived. My entire Family moved to Arkansas in 1988 and I have been living the Arkansas Hill Billy life ever since..lol! I love Arkansas and will defend it to Death! I wouldnt choose any other place to raise children and grandchildren. The scenery is beautiful the people are friendly and there is just no other place that you can enjoy the good life like Home in Arkansas. Have a great day Joycee, once again I will probally get nothing done. But, I love it : )
