The Daily Horoscope

My birthday is in July, that makes me a Cancer--the Crab. That means I am a sensitive person who gets emotional a lot more often than others. My Dad used to read aloud Mom's horoscope at the breakfast table every morning. It was as normal as eating your cornflakes, a crystal ball view of the day. Of course we all forgot whatever it said and went about our lives...but it stuck with me. Every morning I read aloud our horoscopes and we either ponder or laugh at the prediction. Your have a sense of purpose for everything you do, and you are ready to endure anything if you feel the end result is worth it. If you didn't love so much, you wouldn't care so much. If you didn't care so much, you wouldn't feel so much. If you didn't feel so much, you wouldn't hurt so much. If you didn't hurt so much, you wouldn't think so much. If you didn't think so much, life would not mean so much. Sensitivity may be a mixed blessing but it remains a very precious gift. No matter how raw or vulnerable you may feel, you are lucky to experience the emotions that are now affecting you. Don't fear what you feel. Come to terms with it. Allow your deepest understandings to evolve. You're moving on towards a most worthwhile new phase of your future.
