Living Life

I saw a beautiful print last week at a gallery in Eureka Springs that I must have. The artist is Bonnie Mohr and the text below the beautiful sepia drawing speaks to my heart...

Life is not a race - but indeed a journey. Be Honest. Work Hard. Be Choosy. Say "thank you", and "great job" to someone each day. Go to church, take time for prayer. The Lord giveth and the Lord taketh. Let your handshake mean more than pen and paper. Love your life and what you've been given, it is not accidental ~ search for your purpose and do it as best you can. Dreaming does matter. It allows you to become that which you inspire to be. Laugh often. Appreciate the little things in life and enjoy them Some of the best things really are free. Do not worry, less wrinkles are more becoming. Forgive, it frees the soul. Take time for yourself ~ Plan for longevity. Recognize the special people you've been blessed to know. Live for today, enjoy the moment. ~Bonnie Mohr

  1. I think most of us have a lot to be grateful for but once in a while we need a reminder. This is a beautiful print and what Bonnie is saying is so true. "Thank you" Joycee. I always try to start my day reading your blog, because it warms my heart :-)

  2. Oh Joycee what a wonderful print and such beautiful words. I think we all have things to be grateful for...some more than others and I'm sure feeling that today. Every day is a blessing. Thank you for sharing this with us. One more thing...I LOVE Eureka Springs...it's probably my most favorite place to visit other than my family up in Canada. Have a wonderful day! Maura :)

  3. I love this...what I like the most is that it gives you permission to think about yourself...and what you might need.

I haven't been to Eureka Springs in a few years. It may be time for a return trip.

  6. I am really loving this blog background, you may change it before so I will tell you it is kind of like hand waterpainted looking. I loved your post on the change and the different backgrounds. I am so glad to meet you. I am your newest follower.
I do want to plan for longevity, with my little grandkids who make me feel so young. The biggest thing I want to do is to be able to get down on the floor with them. Yoga, I guess!
