Making a Plan

Woody Guthrie's Resolutions 1942

Are you a list maker too? I just bought my planner for the New Year. Twelve whole months, 365 little squares to fill up with birthdays and anniversaries, bills to be paid, appointments to be met and projects to be done. I do love the filling in... OCD rears it's ugly, but organized head! I have replenished my stack of yellow steno pads and Target had some neon-licious mini sticky notes that jumped into my cart the last time I was there. I'm ready, ready for that bright idea to pop in my head, I can quickly write it down before it evaporates out the other side!

Woody Guthrie's list of resolutions looks like everyone else's. He planned on watching his diet (#6), quiting or at least cutting back on drinking (#7), improving his mind by reading more and listening to good music (#13&14) and most importantly #31♥♥♥. We all need a good plan(ner)!

  1. This was so sweet with all the pictures. Loved the one where he will wash his teeth if he has any.

  5. One of my favorite things to do is to fill in a new calendar with all my important dates from the previous years calendar.
As I go through the months of the old one I remember all the different things I have done the year before.

  9. I love making lists and have notebooks full of plans and schedules and sketches and notes. Sometimes, I browse through my old notebooks and am amazed to see how many of those plans actually came to fruition.
