I think I'm going to start using Mr. Froggie for my GrannyMountain weather report. He sits up on the top deck, close to the treetops so he has a good view of the clouds! He almost met his maker the other day, a fat squirrel nearly knocked him off the deck. It would have been a looong way down!
Spring in the Ozarks is a broken record, cloudy with a perpetual chance of rain in every forecast. I shouldn't complain, the farmers count on the Spring rains to get everything up and growing. We are an agricultural state, so that should take precedence over me just wanting some sunshine. When we lived in South Texas, I often wondered why they even bothered with a weatherman. It's sunny and nice everyday. Hot is used in 300 forecasts out of 365, I'd say.
Today's forecast is cloudy with a chance of some nice weather...
hope it happens in your corner of the World!
Whatever the weather! HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY! Hope you have fabulous weekend.

I am IN South Texas, and hot is a safe forecast much of the time! This winter was exceptionally cold. I lost several plants! I am hoping for some rain today or I will have to water!
ReplyDeleteHappy Mother's Day!
Lorilee
Joycee It is in the 90s in Seguin but a tolerable dry heat. I prefer the 80s and we could really use some rain.
ReplyDeleteI wont complain it could be disastrous as it is in Tennessee.
I will pray for those unfortunate souls that have lost everything due to the flooding. They need sunshine right now.
Wishing you a sunny, Happy Mother's Day :)
The Ozarks are beautiful because of those rains but they bring a lot of humidy....being here in the west, I don't tolerate it very well but love that green!
ReplyDelete~after weeks of rain we had mr. sun come out and play yesterday...weather man predicts he will stay with us for a few more days to come! i do hope the clouds break way and your day is filled with warm and light...blessings upon you and yours always~
ReplyDeleteThats what it is here too...but I do wish it would get warm!!! Nice to hear from you the other day...come by often! :D
ReplyDeleteOut here in CA we use the weather rock, and it's infallible: if it's wet, it's raining; if it's white, it's snowing; if it's dry, it's sunny (or at least not raining or snowing).
ReplyDeleteWe have just gone over a week with no precip, but there is a 20% chance of some tomorrow.
I have concluded that weatherpeople say 20% so that no matter what they can't be wrong.
I love your ozarks but you are right about the rainy season...Of course, we deal with wind here on the prairie~
