I got on the scale this morning and I was shocked to see I have gained 5 pounds in 2 weeks. Not a record probably, but I should know better. It's not like I haven't done this before. I'm talking about "treating myself," a very dangerous habit that I slide into easily this time of year. July begins and the birthdays roll one after the other. Can't blame anyone but myself, not Aunt B. who put on this spread for Mom T.'s birthday.

LOL oh dear do I know what that's like this summer. You know...ever year the weather got better I would loose weight...the last couple of years I have NOT lost weight...I have gone up! Can I chock it up to my age? Yep that's it. Hope you're having a wonderful day Joycee....Maura :)
ReplyDeleteI, too know exactly what you are saying! It is sooo hard to pass up on such delishious looking cakes! I am one who loves sweets of all kinds! I try my best to only bring weight watcher snacks and sweets into our home.. I don't bake alot, as I'm one who could eat the whole cake, pie, desert, whatever sweet it may be, all by myself.. I've been wanting to bake a cake for the past couple weeks now, and I know weight watcher's has the one recipe with using diet coke in the cake mix, and I just might have to break down and bake that darn 'ol cake yet! Maybe even like today!
