Ben here...haven't dogged blogged in awhile. Things have been a little crazy on Granny Mountain. My dog cousin River and his family have been living visiting since they are relocating to NW Arkansas. I have lost out on sleep in massive quantities so I catch a few winks anytime I can.
It's not all bad, I enjoy having extra petting and the kids drop a lot of food. Mom cooks better when they are here, we get bacon every morning and that's a big PLUS!
But the pups kids stay up late, past my bedtime and I am getting bags under my eyes. It's been a long, hot summer so I try to find a quiet place away from the hustle and bustle and grab a few winks.
This is one of my favorite places. I can hide and not be seen.
The AC is COLD here, chilling me out!
...and just in case the UPS guy delivers something, I am in a prime position to bark at him!
It's gonna cool down soon now that September is here and the kiddos will come and visit on weekends. I'm hanging on to that thought....
Not just a cute pup but a smart one too! Keeping himself all hidden so he can catch a few restful minutes. :)
ReplyDeleteLOL, he so reminds me of my Lexi when the grandkids visit and bring their Colllins. Lexi is completely worn out by the time they leave, and chills out for days afterward.
ReplyDeletePrecious! We love them so much:-)
ReplyDeleteUm, Ben, I hate to tell you this, but you're not as invisible as you think. Sweet dreams. Love, Foxy
