I'm pretending it's 80 degrees instead of 44. May the second, the heat is humming in the background and there is a steady drizzle of rain outside.  We have more rain than we know what to do with, shouldn't complain except it's really causing problems for a lot of people now. All of the lakes in our area are FULL which means they have to let some out at the dams causing flooding in low lying areas. Too much of anything is bad and this is affecting farmers, they can't get crops planted with cool rainy weather which means down the line we will be paying more for the crops that do make it to grocery stores. The Ozarks depend on tourism, the stores need warmer weather to sell spring clothes and I NEED SUNSHINE! Are you listening Mother Nature???

  1. I sure hope your "rain, rain goes away!" We are windy and 66 right now here. I'm catching up on laundry and you right now...here's to rainbows in your near future!

  2. We could use a little of your rain. Not much, we flood easily, just a little bit to get things wet and give the ants that are taking over, a drink, to keep them out of my bathtub! (looking for water)

  3. Hang on to your imagination - Sunshine is coming. It won't rain forever; I promise. (raining here today too, but we've not had nearly as much rain as you've had)

  5. I was wondering about the rudebekias and butterfly. I thought we were really behind.
We always have a lot of rain but we also had a lot of snow pack this year and when it thaws our rivers are going to rise on up. Worrisome.
