But if you could see the tree on a warm summer day, all dressed up in her bright pink puff balls, the heady sweet smell of watermelon driving the bees crazy... you'd know her magic!
On their way to Ohio are Mama Mimosa's magic green seeds. They will be lovingly planted, carefully watered and they will thrive there just like they have for years on Old Prairie Creek Road. The lady of the house will make Spam and eggs and Little Mimosa will grow and make memories for Maddie and Hank who will call her the Brush Blush Tree...
They are quite the sight when they are blooming, aren't they?

ReplyDeleteI had never seen a Mimosa tree until we moved here. The blooms are gorgeous! The butterflies and bees went nuts over this particular tree.
