Complaint Department

Morning, did your weekend go fast too? I can't believe I go from "Whoo hoo, it's Friday" to "Oh no, it's Monday" in two blinks. We ran errands, did catch up work and visited parents. I try to get things done during the week but sometimes you can't get it all done.

This week has me waiting on a repairman and meeting with my father-in-laws' doctor, with no set time for either one. They will "call me," ever get that type of appointment? I get it a lot, at their mercy, hurry up and wait.

I'm also waiting on a part from QVC to fix  my floor steamer. If this doesn't fix it, I'm mailing the whole kit and caboodle back to them. It's not their fault, I've ordered from them for 25 years and they always are fair and easy on returns, my gripe is with merchandise that's defective when it leaves the factory.

Then last night I waited in menu HE dubble L to fix a cell phone problem. It kept re-routing me to the same "plug-in-your-information-part" until finally I gave up. Tomorrow I'll try again to reach a human!

So, I'm waiting in the complaint line this morning... good thing I'm in my bunny slippers!

  1. I lose my mind if they give me a 4 hour window of time to show up.
We put our phone on speaker the other night for 4 hours waiting to be answered by our cable company. We finally went to bed.
At my work people complain if they have to wait 2 minutes and believe me they are almost never waiting that long.

  4. I hope the repairman and the doc don't call at the same time! My weekends always go by fast, especially during the racing season. Thankfully we only have 1 more of those - or at least that's what they're telling me. I did catch up on ALL my laundry yesterday. Whew! There was a ton of it. Today I'm catching up on my blog reading. I think I deserve it!

  5. Sadly, this happens to darn often, when we are at the mercy of others. I'm still at my son's mercy, to get my AC running. GRRRRRRR!

  6. I try my best to never deal with phone people on Mondays - they seem to not be 'all there', you know?

  7. I HATE trying to do any type of business on the phone any more. I know I sound like a gripey old woman but "I want to talk to a REAL person and I don't want to wait 30 minutes to do it". I'm pretty laid back but I've got to work on the "patience" thang!

  8. I know what you mean. I hate pushing buttons, looking for a person to talk with.

  9. argh I hate waiting on phone help. I want to talk to a person not keep pushing buttons. And the repairman who says any time between 8am and noon or noon and 5. Then they call at 6 and say we ran outta time we will have to reschedule. That sucks too.
