The site is much more than a simple calorie counter, it has a pie chart that breaks down protein, fat and carbs to see at a glance where I'm going wrong.
...not THAT kind of pie!
It also has an activity/exercise calculator with just about everything that you can imagine doing. Like:
Applying Make-up (159 calories/hour)
Making Beds (159 calories/hour)
Cleaning House, vigorously (318 calories/hour)
Laundry, doing (171 calories/hour)
Grocery Shopping (284 calories/hour)
Driving Vehicle (210 calories/hour)
Talking on the phone (119 calories/hour)
Lying quietly, watching TV (79 calories/hour)
I can see that I need to bump up my activities.
I looked over the chart and these look like the best ones:
Chopping Wood (1349 calories/hour)
Digging Ditches (675 calories/hour)
Firefighting (873 calories/hour)
I just wish this one burned more calories...
Writing, sitting (143 calories/hour)
Guess, you need to chop your own woods then! hehe.... Hey, no jokes! Chopping woods isn't an easy job for us!
ReplyDeleteI have chopped my own wood - but not daily!!! That burns quite a lot of calories...I suppose thats why the pioneers never needed to worry about becoming overweight, eh?
ReplyDeleteSounds like a cool site! And that pie, oh my, I want it!
ReplyDeleteVERY INTERESTING...COUCH AND TV WATCHING, DIDN'T THINK THAT WOULD DO ANYTHING..I'LL GO CHECK IT OUT...OH, BUT THAT PIE DOES LOOK YUMMY! COME SAY HI :D
