When we lived in Texas, we enjoyed our pool after the sun went down (it's "boil-yer-brains-hot" during the day)! Our GRANDson Jackson spent Friday nights with us and he was part fish! I used to tell him, "Look up Jackson, God's put those stars up there just for us to enjoy!" We'd swim around and set outside till bedtime. It was special Nana and Papa time. We didn't have to do anything, just listen and be there. But it was magic all the same...
~so true...so true...such precious moments with your l♥ved one...may your twinkle always glow bright for those around you...beautiful...brightest blessings~
ReplyDeletewhat a sweet post, i am sure when all grown up he will remember that magic too.
ReplyDeletethanks for visiting me today, i missed you all chatting at me too! i did have a few comments about leaving comments, the guilt got to me and i thought going mum would make it easier...
at our old home, we had a hot tub that was surrounded by pines and when winter came, that too was mind boiling hot 104 usually and around 10 at night, hubs and I would sneak out in the buff and just sit, listening to the wind blow through the white pines and star gaze. If we got to hot, out we went, rolled in the snow and then back in.
ReplyDeleteI love winter nights like that.
with love,
Olivia
That would be so much fun to do! I love the stars too..I love to go outside here and just gaze up into the Heavens..it is so healing and it puts me in touch with God immedietly! What a sweet gift they are to us! Come say hi :D

ReplyDeleteSounds like heaven. I like to be out under the stars too! One of my favorite memories is swimming in the stock tank under the stars and then laying on the pier to watch the meteor shower!
ReplyDeleteBlessings,

Those were special times, miss being close to Grandkids. But we have the same starry sky in Arkansas now and every summer when they are here, we go out in the evenings on the boat and enjoy it! Thanks everyone for your sweet comments...
