It's 18 degrees here this morning with winds 30-40mph out of the North Pole making our Real Feel Temperature a -7. So cold and windy the birds are having trouble landing on the feeders. Glad I'm not a bird!
We even had a light dusting of snow last night. I thought we'd blow away...the winds howled all night long.
Amazing, the poinsettias and garland didn't blow away. I haven't been out to check if the bows on the garland are still there...
Ben's not worried about the cold temps. In fact he's dreaming about a warm beach somewhere and he's just ordered a cheeseburger and a side of McNuggets. Life is good!
Ben looks so cosy there!!
ReplyDeleteAfter a snowy day today I guess we are in for 30 mph winds tonight. I expect them to close the schools tomorrow, but those of us who work at the university will probably still be going. Oh, my kingdom for a school day!
ReplyDeleteHoosier hugs, Cheryl
Have Ben order the super-size so we can share it! We're supposed to get those winds and a drop in temperature overnight. We had a light dusting, then some ice, then it all melted!:)JP
ReplyDeleteI sure don't miss that kinda weather. It is cooler in Texas but still quite nice most days. I talked to friends back in Maine and it is nasty cold.
ReplyDeleteBen sure looks like he doesn't have a trouble, or a cold bone in his body:-)
He is a lucky boy, and he appreciates his loving family, and warm home.
OOOOh, you gave me chills just reading that! It was sunny and about 40 today and it was just perfect. I would like a dusting of snow for Christmas Eve but it could stay this way and just get the snow in the mountains. Your pictures are so pretty. I can enjoy it from a warm home!
ReplyDeleteWe are supposed to get a nice Winter Storm tonight into tomorrow. High winds and around 10 inches of snow! The kids are really hoping there will be no school tomorrow. We'll see. I think our school district is hoping for an early out this year.
ReplyDeleteStay Warm!
