It was so much fun taking our youngest GRANDson Ewan to the fireworks stand. Since he's only four we picked sparklers, Gloworms, Friendship flowers, Happy Lamp, Climbing Panda, Busy Bees, Ground flowers and Neon Smoke Bombs.

His cousin, our oldest GRANDson Jackson is sixteen. He likes things that blow up, crash or explode so I was a little surprised that he enjoyed last night's pre-fourth fireworks show. He ran like a child, he giggled and laughed.
It was funny and sweet! These two, who are separated by 12 years and in different families are cousins who amazingly share so many things.

One will be graduating soon and one will be starting kindergarten.

I think I have a few more chocolate chip pancake mornings left...

  1. A blessed Sunday morning to you Joyce. Ewan is so cute, and so sweet and kind of Jackson to spend so much time with him. Jackson is a handsome young man, and I dare say he is a good kid, with a great personality and considerate of others. Looks like a fun day. Wishing you more on this holiday weekend.

What gorgeous boys ... they grow too fast.
Love the lake scenes, what a fun place to be.

May her flag fly high & proud forever over this great land ... may God see the changes we need & grant us that blessing.

    Happy 4th, my friend,

  8. How lucky for them to have each other and be able to relate and have fun! That's saying a lot, compared to some of the teens I've seen. Make those pancakes as long as you can and capture every available moment on camera, for future reference.
